Pregnant man ‘lost triplets’
THE pregnant man has told of his heartache at losing TRIPLETS before he conceived again.
Thomas Beatie, who is due to give birth to a girl on July 3, survived the ectopic pregnancy – but lost the tots and his right Fallopian tube.
The transsexual, 34, who kept his female reproductive organs after a sex change, said: “It was a life-threatening event that required surgical intervention.”
Despite the heartbreak, Thomas and wife Nancy, 45 – who can’t have kids after a hysterectomy – got no sympathy from his family.
He added: “When my brother found out about my loss, he said, ‘It’s a good thing that happened. Who knows what kind of monster it would have been’.”
The American couple, of Bend, Oregon, decided to try again – but Thomas had to inseminate himself at HOME with semen from a sperm bank after nine doctors refused to carry out the procedure on a man with a beard.
He added: “Doctors have discriminated against us, turning us away due to their religious beliefs.
“They refused to call me by a male pronoun or recognise Nancy as my wife.
“And receptionists have laughed at us.
“This whole process, from trying to get pregnant to being pregnant, has been a challenge.”
Thomas, who used to be lesbian Tracy LaGondino when living in Hawaii, was last night in hiding with Nancy after recording an interview with TV chatshow host Oprah Winfrey.
The show airs in the US on Thursday
All should be allowed to live and show their love and dedication to those they are mated wihth.

Every ten minutes a child is born, 1/2500, in which the doctor cannot determine the sex, or gender. This is not talking about homosexuality, but tragically a congenital condition of birth which can be caused by endocrine agents and chemicals. These children are Intersex; they are born into a life of not male or female. Likewise in similar fashion the Transsexual is identified with a Bioneurological congenital condition, and they too are locked into something not quite so clearly defined as male, or female. The best we can do is live as close to what we seem to believe we are. That may preclude the wants, and often ignorant and bigoted beliefs of others. In what case do we ignore this issue and abandon the children who now cannot hide? How can anyone continue in hate and prejudice so as to deny simple equality and justice? Not an easy thing to resolve, but one that is present and will not go away. I can appreciate social opinion, and the freedom to express same, but I would hope our culture and ethos would be with regard to the children, teens, and emerging adults, and all who are not so fortunate to have been born by someone’s idea of “normal.”

High levels of Testosterone in the womb are known to affect the brain development of the unborn child, leading to severe behavioural problems. Some doctors believe it is the main cause of Autism. A study on convicted rapists showed that 92 percent had been exposed to higher than normal levels of Testosterone in the womb.
This child has been exposed to unprecedentedly high levels of testosterone!
It could be a real beast, if it survives after the pregnancy.
This is a prime example, no matter what you try to be you can only be how God made you. How can you say you are mentally a man but stil try to carry out the only thing that makes a woman a woman. Make up your mind. I show no judgement just pity and I will be praying for the unborn child.
I think going sdo public with this is unfair on the child, she will be treated like a freak.

I think that they should be ashamed of themselves. They are possibly bringing a child in to a crazy world with the both of them mixed up like they are. I hope the child is prefect but the parents will pay a heavy price if they do not get forgiven of their sins.

I feel sorry for the child of this selfish couple. As consenting adults, they have the right to live and love as they see fit. However, bringing a child into this world under such freakish, immoral circumstances is deplorable. Growing up in a relatively normal family is hard enough. This is my opinion. Agree or not, you’ll not change it.

I don’t understand how a person could be so confused…first of all with your gender!!!!! Do you actually think that God made a mistake the first time?! Maybe that is whats wrong with the whole thing of not being able to have any children because of the way you live…why would God bless you with any children when you are living the way you are!!!!?????? So unnatural and unhealthy, why would most people in their right mind help you with such a thing? You can insist that the world is flat; that doesn’t make it so. Likewise, a woman can insist she is a man, even going so far as to alter herself chemically and surgically; however, her DNA will always prove otherwise. That’s science; it has nothing to do with religion. And yet, it seems that those who choose to embrace the truth instead of enabling a lie are summarily dismissed as ignorant, intolerant, fanatical religious biggots.
Interestingly enough, Traci/Thomas described ‘his’ pregnancy as a “miracle”. (so who is really dragging religion into the equation?) The *real* miracle would have been if Traci/Thomas was born with two X chromosomes and had become pregnant.

i think its great that you can have children but what about the child. how will the baby feel when they find out their mother is a guy. she’ll be laughed at and publicly humiliated her whole life. gay people are discriminated all the time. imagen how being the daughter of a transsexual will affect her life…

It dosen’t matter what sex your are as long as you love that child. What if the child has a birth defect as long as that child is loved thats all that matter. What you and your do is your buisness and nobody else. I’m praying for you and your wife as well as the unborn child. I belive that you two will be really good parents. The way this world is set up people is going to have something to say regardless what it may be about. The one thing i have learned is everyone has an opinion as they have butt holes. The beauty of God’s work is that He made us free and allowed us to mess up! as Tracy has done it (at least) twice. What is yet more beautiful is that God allows us to repent.

This is an abomination in the sight of God. He chose you to be born a woman, not a man. You chose to become a man so that it would ease your guilty concience of being a lesbian and living with another woman! The truth is the truth even if it hurts. This is not bigotry! This is reality. Live with it. You are trying to bring an innocent child into this world which will become scrutinized by society. When you are long gone (dead) this child (person) will still have to live with the consequences of your behavior. You may termporarily cover up, through surgery, who you are but when you stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ you will be judged as a woman, not as a man. You are only trying to make history. I find it HILARIOUS that any person can sit there and say what God intended for another. We have no clue. Stating that you know God’s intentions is more of an abomination that someone living their life differently than what you feel is right. I would encourage all of you to look at the hate that’s coming from yourself, is that of God? I have a hard time believing so. The fact is there is no definition of normal that does not include our current culture (which changes, HELLO!). From what I hear Thomas and HIS wife have welcome their baby girl into the world! We all should be thrilled that loving parents have welcomed a child into their homes.
What *I* find HILARIOUS is observing those who, by their arrogance, believe they can contradict science. They of course fail because they are subject to the laws of science (as we all are); however, when others dare to point out the irrationality of their behavior, they become defensive and accuse the others of being hateful and judgemental. Simply because they attempted to point out the obvious.
This isn’t about culture; this is about science – HELLO! You cannot, for example, change a law of physics simply because you don’t want to be subject to it’s limitations. You can, though, attribute a *false* definition to said law in an attempt to make it appear to agree with your point of view. However, you cannot force others to agree with your false definition; nor can you actually alter the law just by asserting that your definition of it is truthful.
THUS, a human being who has the DNA of a woman can do everything *within her limited power, and within the limited power of humankind* to redefine herself as a man. But at best, she is simply creating a false definition to make it appear to herself and the world that her definition is true and that the actual laws that dictate her gender from the moment of her conception are, in fact, false. But in the end, she is fooling no one – not even herself. Until she has the capability to actually alter the proof of her gender at conception by wiping out the female DNA and replacing it with male DNA, she will never be a man – despite her protestations to the contrary.
