  1. leave the poor guy alone. Misbah did what he was supposed to do in the semi-final against India, he kept his wicket safe so Pakistan can avoid an embarassing collapse which we see quite often in pressure games. Misbah’s career strike rate in ODI is 78.15% with an average of 44.55 ( stats are as of 29/04/2011). Misbah made above his ODI average with a strike rate of around 75%. Who did fail were batsmen like Younis Khan, Kamran Akmal, Shahid Afridi and Abdul Razzaq. Younis Khan with years of experience behind him to call him a senior player in the Pakistan squad failed miserbaly. Younis Khan played 32 balls and made only 13 runs, his strike rate was 40.62%. If anyone is to blame, Younis Khan should definitely be at the top of the list. The other three culprits who should be blamed for this defeat are Umar Akmal, Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan who dropped three catches of Tendulkar. You just can’t give three lives to a batsman like Sachin Tendulkar who ended up making 85 and taking the man of the match trophy home.
